How to make a Festive Fourth of July Centerpiece!
Celebrate the spirit of freedom and patriotism with me as I unveil my latest creation: a stunning red, white, and blue centerpiece inspired by the iconic Statue of Liberty. Picture this: majestic red and white roses, complemented by vibrant red carnations and peppermint-striped red and white carnations, all coming together in a breathtaking display of Americana charm. Join me as I share how this centerpiece embodies the essence of liberty and pays homage to the beauty of our nation’s colors. Let’s dive into the details and craft something truly memorable together!

I picked up this great figurine of the Statue of Liberty at Michaels last year and never got around to using it. I wasn’t going to let Independence Day go by this year! I took a large white bowl and placed some wet floral foam in it.

I used four pieces of the floral foam with a large Tervis cup in the center of the foam as shown below.

I needed to make sure my foam did not move around when I began to add flowers, so I secured all four pieces with waterproof floral foam.

I used Command hooks attached to the top of the Tervis cup and attached the other pieces of the Command to the bottom of my figurine.

By pressing down firmly, I was able to secure Lady Liberty in the center or my arrangement.

Here she is holding her torch high. I have raised her up so that she will appear above the flowers I will use to make my arrangement.

To make my arrangement, I began with foliage in a pattern around the top edge of my bowl.

After adding foliage around the edge I added pieces of foliage between each of the first layer and at an upward angle.

Next it was time to begin to add my flowers. I began with all American red roses!

White roses were the next blooms I added to my arrangement.

Bright scarlet carnations are a great choice for the Fourth of July and not only do they fill in an arrangement, but they also are so very long lasting!

You can see the open spaces, so after this I selected some fluffy green foliage to cover all of the floral foam.

I completed my arrangement with fun red and white peppermint carnations and some bright red miniature carnations. A beautiful display that celebrates all that Independence Day stands for!
