Individual Caprese

These individual caprese are easy to make and easy to store in the fridge – make them the day before or the morning of your party and store them in an air-tight container. I made these for my “Time for a Party” cocktail party and stored the reserve in the fridge during the party – they were easy to replenish throughout the evening as my guests enjoyed them.

30 Cherry Tomatoes

30 Fresh Mozzarella Pearls

One small bunch of Fresh Basil

1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar


Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes.  Drain the mozzarella pearls and wash and trim the basil into thin strips.

Thread a cherry tomato and a piece of mozzarella and a piece of basil onto a toothpick. Prior to serving, dip each individual caprese into a dish of the balsamic vinegar, then place the caprese on a serving dish and enjoy!

I chose to serve mine on individual tasting spoons – this worked great, it make it very easy for guests to grab with little mess for me.
