New Year’s Eve Tablescape

How do you like to celebrate New Year’s Eve? When we were young my husband and I would go out to a party but have moved to the stay home crowd. I still like to do something special to celebrate. Usually this means hosting a dinner party for us and for another couple or two.

There are so many different ways to go when decorating for New Year’s Eve, but I embraced the glamorous vibe with a plenty of mirrored disco balls in a variety of sizes.

A white fur table runner and white fur placemats added to the glam, yet wintery feel of this table.

Black chargers with an ornate design on them protected the runner and placemats from spills and set off my plate stacks.

I chose matching china pieces for this table featuring Lenox Larabee Road in Platinum by Kate Spade.

In addition to the mirrored balls, I added crystal candl

This table really comes to life as the sunsets and the candles are lit. Use a generous amount of candles on your table to add to the celebratory vibe.

Add your best crystal and silver to your place settings for an elegant table.

Don’t be afraid to mix taper candles with votive candles. The more candlelight the better!

Question: Does Celebration allow fireworks ?

    1. Hey there Myrna…interesting, I don’t know if Celebration allows individuals to use fireworks. I know we used to have them on New Year’s Eve and Fourth of July downtown (Celebration). Now they only do them on the Fourth of July. Of course amazing fireworks are just down the street at Disney!
