For this rustic tablescape, I’ve created a setting that’s both rustic and elegant. The place settings consist of grapevine chargers that provide a natural, textured base. Soft brown dinner plates are topped with stunning salad plates in the Forest Walk pattern by Juliska. These salad plates feature a delightful array of woody vines, feathers, mushrooms, acorns, berries, and oak leaves around the edge, perfectly encapsulating the essence of a woodland stroll.

To complement the place settings, I’ve styled an abundant centerpiece featuring a mossy table runner topped with intertwining vines. Little faux mushrooms are dotted along the runner, adding a whimsical touch. Acorns, oak leaves, and feathers gathered from a walk in the woods are also included, enhancing the natural, earthy feel of the tablescape.

Join me as we explore how to bring the beauty of the forest into your home with this enchanting earthy tablescape. Whether you’re hosting a cozy dinner or simply looking to add a touch of nature to your decor, this setup offers plenty of inspiration.

Faux berries and pods help to carry through the forest theme of this styled table.

Amber-colored stemware and wooden-handled flatware complete the table settings, adding warmth and a touch of vintage charm to the overall look.

For fun I added a couple of artificial butterflies to my elaborate centerpiece.

If you are fortunate to have oak trees nearby, a few clusters of leaves trimmed from them add a touch of green to this verdant centerpiece.

I combined two different kinds of vines to my centerpiece. One is just a purchased roll of grapevine, opened up and unwound. The second is a more substantial grapevine purchased on Etsy and soaked until I could extend it.

When evening comes the glow of candlelight to add a warm and cozy feeling to this table setting that hints at the autumn season ahead.

Adding votive candles among the centerpiece is an easy way to add that romantic glimmer to the table.

As evening falls, the earthy tablescape takes on a magical glow under the soft light of flickering candles. The amber stemware glistens warmly, and the intertwining vines and mossy table runner seem to come alive in the candlelight. The faux mushrooms cast gentle shadows, while the acorns, oak leaves, and feathers gathered from nature create a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The centerpiece and the place settings add a touch of rustic elegance, making this woodland-inspired setting perfect for a serene, enchanting dinner experience

  1. This is one of your most creative, magical tablescapes ever. It also looks doable for me to try remaking the same look.
