A Peter Rabbit Baby Shower
A Peter Rabbit Baby Shower
Peter Rabbit always comes to mind when Spring arrives and I was just reminiscing about my daughter’s baby shower a mere two years ago. I thought this would be a good time to re-share this beautiful party. The happy day was here, and along with my daughter’s Mother-in-law, we created a fun baby shower using the Peter Rabbit theme the expectant parents are using for the nursery.
That cake!
This adorable cake set the theme for the shower upon arrival of the guests. Peter Rabbit was created from modeling chocolate. The fence was created with fondant, but the remainder of the decorations were delicious buttercream.
The favors:
Look at these adorable favors! Tiny flower pots were filled with a variety of brown Jelly Belly jelly beans, some green crinkle shred was tucked into them, a chocolate carrot was “planted” and a packet of flower seeds topped off each favor.
Centerpieces were little pails filled with artificial carrots, silk cabbages, little garden tools and a fuzzy little green rabbit. They were finished off with some silk daffodils and a plaid bow.

Mr. McGregor could have left this little wheelbarrow filled with garden vegetables and little bunnies parked near the garden that Peter Rabbit snuck into.
The guests are still talking about that shower. Everything from the centerpieces, the favors, the cake, and of course, the wonderful luncheon, was exquisite. Just so charming and creative for a springtime shower.
This must have been so much fun to put together and even more delightful to attend!
What an adorable shower! I’m sure your daughter loved it. Did you make that cake? If so, that is very impressive. I love all of the fun centerpieces too!
Me? Make that cake, oh, no! I can take credit for the centerpieces, though!
This is such a sweet shower theme! My nursery was Beatrix Potter themed… I’ve always dreamed of doing the same for my little one someday.
Thank you Allie, the nursery is all Peter Rabbit themed too, and so cute!
So cute! Love the garden utensils tied to the centerpieces
Thank you Jenna, and thanks for stopping by!
