Halloween Monster Munch
Looking for a fun and easy Halloween snack? This is a perfect treat to take to a party! Set out bowls of this and watch it disappear!
You can follow the recipe I created, or you can add the ingredients your family will enjoy the most! I start with air-popped popcorn, to which I add candy corn, Fall-colored M & M’s, candy eyes and peanuts, then drizzle creepy green candy melts over the top.
The spider was just added for effect, and I really don’t like spiders, so trust me, he is totally fake! I promise you there are no more spiders crawling around inside there!
- 10 C. Popcorn
- 3/4 C. Peanuts
- 3/4 C. Candy Corn
- 20 – 30 Candy Eyes
- 1/2 C. Candy Melts in your choice of color
- Mix first 4 ingredients together and spread it on a coolie sheet you have lined with a piece of parchment paper. Melt your candy melts and drizzle it over the mixture. Let the candy melts cool and harden and then serve and enjoy.
You can add dry cereal, different kinds of nuts or pretzels to your mix and even forgo the candy drizzle or substitute melted chocolate to drizzle over yours.
