10 Ideas for The Fourth of July
I love all of the celebrations surrounding the Fourth of July. I don’t know why it appeals to me so, maybe because it is summertime and our summers are supposed to be a little more carefree. Perhaps the fireworks just shout out CELEBRATE! to me. Decorate your mantel by just adding some dollar store flags and some painted wooden stars to your current decorations.

Attend a small town Fourth of July parade! There is nothing like it, so American!
Paint some terra cotta pots in patriotic colors and add some fun noisemakers for the kids to have their own celebration, or even a backyard parade!

Do you have a summertime celebration in Italy? I have never been to Italy!
Yes, we have “Ferragosto”, on August, 15th. It should be a religious celebration but actually is a big summer feast with alfresco tablescape and great italian barbecue!
