A Life in Celebration
The heat is on here in Florida! Can I tell you how I am already tired of summertime and it isn’t even officially summer yet!? I have been scrambling to to keep my plants all watered! See that temperature? I have seen it as high as 102 degrees already this spring!

My sweet little hydrangeas are wilted before noon every single day. We do expect some rain later this week and my plants really need it! I was a little late getting up the red, white and blue bunting on the front porch, but it is all up now! I have a few more summer projects and tables to style and share and then I will be starting on fall decor…MY FAVORITE SEASON!! I would love to hear what your favorite season is!

The simple elegance of these melamine plates is just the right feeling of vintage Americana for any summer celebration!

These Claus fixed blade floral knives are what I use to cut my flowers when I bring them home or when I am arranging them. They also are fantastic for slicing open those Amazon boxes! I like to leave the cardboard protector on them in the drawer to keep from accidental cuts!

I have found a little bit of time to read lately and am totally engrossed in the Rosemont series of books by Barbara Hinske! If you need a good summer read, start here!

I agree. It’s very hot here. Seems early to be nearly 100°.
I am loving the video playing and that giant Chinoiserie bowl you are using to make the arrangement.
So glad you mentioned waterproofing and provided a link. I love my raincoat and can’t find another one like it. It rains so hard here during the summer all of the water repellent is gone.
