A Life in Celebration

I am still on my road trip! Over the weekend we spent time at the trout fishing club my husband has belonged to for over 20 years! It is a beautiful spot and he is enjoying some quality time fly fishing. I have been pleased to have time on the screened in porch of the little cottage on the grounds. I am especially enjoying all of the beautiful plants things I can’t grow in the Florida heat. Next stop, Cleveland, where we have family, my husband’s office and a couple of routine doctor’s appointments!

This week the alphabet series brings us to “D”! In this post “D” is for Depression Glass. My mother collected Miss America depression glass dishes and passed them on to me. I rarely use them for dining or for a tablescape, but they seemed the perfect choice to share this week! In case you missed it, you can visit “C” is for Christmas in July!

Shopping my favorite things this week!

I always keep a lot of these on the shelf in the laundry room! Scented lint rollers leave my clothes fresh and tidy!

Have you been plagued with spider bites this summer? The littlest spiders can leave the nastiest little bites. It was time to do something about it, so I resorted back to the spider killer we used on our sailboat! Spiders really seem to love wet locations! This does the trick!

Have you switched up any of your outlets to these that have USB connections right in the wall? These are the best!
