Celebrate Your Story! #137

Link Party

Wow!  What a weekend!  If you haven’t been following along we me on Facebook or Instagram, you may not know what I was up to!  I attended the Haven conference for my second time and it was another amazing experience.  I learned so very much, but this year I also got to meet some of you great bloggers that link up with me every week right here!  It is so great to actually meet the people behind the blogs in real life!

Featured Links from Last Week:

Maybe it is because I just came from Haven that I picked furniture DIY projects for both of my features this week.  Jennifer Perkins shared this great Ikea Hack Tiger Tray which could just as easily be done with a thrift store tray as the Ikea one she snagged.  Customize your own with any fabric scrap that would fit the tray and you have a pop of color that mixes with your home style.

The second furniture piece I picked to feature this week is this great bench from Dazzled While Frazzled.  Take a look at Make a Stylish Bench from Nightstands in One Day and get ideas for your next garage sale shopping day!   I would think something was wrong with Sandra if a week went by when she didn’t find some delicious dessert to feature!  This week she discovered this Peanut Butter-Banana Icebox Pie from Linda over at Poinsettia Drive.  This cool and creamy dessert is just what a summertime dinner calls for, right?

Porch Decorating Ideas for Summer from Lolly Jane caught a lot of eyes last week, but it was Sandra’s choice to feature it this week.  I am looking for ideas for switching my porch from patriotic to general summer, so I will be checking out this post in detail!

I could easily see why these Lemon Cake Mix Cookies from Leslie of Playdates and Parties were the most clicked link last week.  Leslie has been sharing all kinds of cookie recipes for your Christmas cookie planning, but I think these Powdered Sugar Lemon cookies are perfect for a bit of that summertime citrus flavor!  Click on over for three different Lemon cake mix cookie recipes!
