Valentine’s Dessert Board
Valentine’s Dessert Board
Tomorrow is the DAY! We are having guests for dinner at a local restaurant and returning home for dessert. What better way to celebrate the day than a Valentine’s dessert board?Someone asked me how you begin styling one of these boards, so I thought I would share a couple of my “in progress” photos. I played around a bit with different Valentine’s dishes and candies. You will see in my final photos that I did change things up a little bit. This was a great way to use those conversation hearts I used in my Easy Valentines Flower Arrangement. I was almost finished at this point, but I did want to add a few more little conversation hearts to cover up the edges of the dishes. Here it is, all ready to serve up to guests! Can you spot the Valentine cookies I shared at my Conversation Heart Valentine’s Tablescape? I didn’t bake any of the items for my dessert board. The Celebration Le Macaron French Pastries shop was the perfect spot to find fresh macarons and sweet chocolates.Look at those velvety L-O-V-E chocolates! I tucked those among my petit fours and chocolate covered cheesecake bites from Publix. Pepperidge Farm Pirouettes add a different shape to the display. Sweet little chocolate and shortbread heart shaped cookies nestle next to petit fours and shimmery heart-shaped chocolates. Soft pink-colored macarons alongside chocolate-covered mint Oreos offer guests every kind of Valentine treat! I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day celebrating LOVE!!
Beautiful display Chloe, I wish I was among the invited guests. well maybe next time. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Thank you so much Edmee! It was a delightful evening!
