Inspiration for Designing a Bright and Cheery Summer Citrus Tablescape

There are so many signs and symbols of summer and for me the bright and cheery colors of oranges, lemons and limes are some of those fun signs. I am so happy to once again be joining our host, Rita from Panoply for this blog hop. The best part of these blog hops are seeing all of the table settings these 21 other bloggers are sharing today.

A Fun Citrus Summer Tablescape:

Little flower pots were painted white and filled with shite shred. Little faux oranges, faux limes and faux lemons were put in each of the pots. Next each pot got a little bow in colors to coordinate with the fruits in that individual pot.

The stars of this beautiful citrus tablescape was this pop art themed citrus table was these created towering topsy turvy fruit slice topiaries. The topiaries each included a lemon slice, a lime slice and an orange slice.

A pair of placemats that looked like lemon leaves served as the base for the tall topiaries.

The little pot of limes rests on a table runner of white paper which ran down the middle of the table.

I always love looking closely at the variety of texture on a table I have styled. These wooden white chargers were a nice contrast to the shiny melamine plates. Can you believe these fun plates were just $1.25 at Dollar Tree? I picked up ten of them to be ready to set an outdoor table when my backyard is complete later this summer!

I gathered the topiaries and the little pots of citrus fruits down the center of the table.

Paper lemon napkins and orange napkins that simulate the slices of fruit are layered by each place setting.

If you would like an idea to make a lemon and lime flower arrangement, you can see that at How to make a Lemon Lime Centerpiece.
