Spring Tea Party
Spring Tea Party
Are you thinking about what you might do for Mother’s Day? Last year I styled this lovely spring tea party and felt it was worth sharing again today.

This tea set that came from Home Goods! Each teacup and each saucer are a slightly different pattern. IF you want to see a more mix and match tea party, you can look at my Valentine’s Tea Party.
The rain and wind chased me indoors, so I took over our bar cart and turned it into my tea cart!
Wanting to infuse the feeling of Springtime and outdoors, I used this mossy basket. This is a leftover Easter basket from Michael’s that was 70% off! I cut off the carrot trim and went about filling my basket.
I tucked a potted hydrangea, an ivy and a hyacinth in the basket. Putting a few yellow tulips in water tubes meant I could stick them, into the potted ivy plant.
Look how pretty the different patterns are on the cups and saucers. If you look closely, you can see a rose-colored tassel on the one teacup.
When I spotted these pretty tassel look teaspoons, I knew I had to add them to my tea party!
I didn’t bake, but picked up some sweet little cookies and tarts to share with hot cups of tea. In the past, I have made little tea sandwiches.
One of the napkins I used was used as a tablecloth on top of my tea cart, the rest of them were fanned out beneath dessert plates for guests to pick up as they help themselves to some sweets.
This teapot comes with a little base that holds a tea light to keep the water hot! Do you want to go a little crazy with an A Mad Tea Party?
I hope these pretty dishes and delightful flowers bring you some joy today!
Happy Mother’s Day Chloe! What a delightful table to celebrate the day!
Thank you Jenna!
My mother would have loved this. It reminds me of an English garden.
Thank you so much Karen, I just had to being these dishes and spoons home!
I am ready for tea. I love your tea set. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much Rebecca, it was a perfectly lovely gathering. I am looking forward to the time when we can entertain again.
Hi Chloe,
Absolutely love these dishes and tea cups! The colors and slight difference in pattern is great.
Going to Home Goods is fun, always finding a great surprise.
Hope you enjoyed Mother’s day!
Cindy
Thank you Cindy! I can’t wait to go shopping again!
Hi Chloe,
This is so much fun! Does that remind you a little bit about your childhood? Everything looks so pretty and inviting. Thanks for sharing.
This is so dainty and lady-like! I wish I could get Ava to sit still long enough to enjoy this with me.
Oh, she will someday, Sandra! Just enjoy that adorable little one, you know they grow too quickly!
Everything looks so pretty. You designed a truly inviting tea party.
Thank you so much Edmee! I am not one for a lot of tea parties (truth be told, I prefer just lemon in hot water)! But I always enjoy little tea sandwiches! I would love to have a gathering or conference or something someday for all of my readers and fellow bloggers and set pretty tables and serve wonderful food!
This is such a beautiful tea party. I love all of the details. Blessings to to you.
Thank you so much Renae!
Hello Chloe, so nice to have you over for Share Your Style! I was happy to feature your lovely tea party at this past Wednesday’s SYS #304 for you. <3 I have one of those HomeGoods tea cups and I love it!!! I don't have room really for any more so I have to be "good" and not go shopping; however, that never keeps me from buying them as gifts for friends! 😉
Happy tea to you and please stop by again; happy to have you as a friend,
Hugs,
Barb 🙂
