Valentine Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundaes

I found these great little heart shaped baking dishes and have been working on all kinds of ways to use them.  I thought it was a great idea to bake chocolate chip cookies in them and use them for a little bit like a bowl for ice cream.  Chocolate-Chip-Cookie-Sundaes

I filled the heart-shaped dishes with a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough pressing it down firmly into the dishes I had prepared with cooking spray.  I baked them about 15 minutes at 350 degrees keeping an eye on them so they were baked completely, but not overdone.  I gently ran a knife around the edge of the cookie and then let them cool completely before carefully removing them from their dishes.

I topped each cookie with a scoop of cherry chunk ice cream, drizzled on a little chocolate sauce, added a little extra chocolate sauce and a spritz of whipped cream and I have some wonderful heart-shaped chocolate chip cookie sundaes to serve up for Valentine’s Day.  If you want to make these really simple, you can even buy prepared chocolate chip cookie dough and all you have to do is bake, top and serve!  I hope this inspires you to create a yummy treat for you family or friends!  Happy Valentine’s Day!

  1. What a great idea, Chloe! It’s something so simple that would really make for a big impact. I don’t have any that small, so I’ll have to be on the lookout. Thanks for sharing – pinned!
