A Winter Wonderland Tablescape

Chrysanthemums are a bargain flower I find right at my local grocery store. Â I just picked up a couple of bunches of white cushion mums and made little arrangements in old silver goblets. Â I began with them on the plate stack, then moved them onto the table above the place settings.
A white faux branchy tree they are selling at Joann’s for Easter seemed like the perfect Winter centerpiece, especially when draped with pearl garlands I took off my Christmas tree .
All white wouldn’t quite work, I needed some silver for contrast.  I set my table with simple silver chargers topped with white dinner plates and then added a silver salad plate and a white dessert plate with a silver snowflake on them. Â
My flatware is my everyday stainless, Classic Shell from Oneida.  The goblets are Marquis by Brookside for Waterford.
I used white linen napkins simply rolled and tied with a narrow white ribbon.
The throw over my white tablecloth looked like a snowy blanket to me. Â This was actually an inexpensive throw from Ikea!
I love this image of the white branch agains my dark blue walls. Â This is making me want to style a blue and white table next!
It was fun to play with the elements afterwards, draping the pearls everywhere! Â
How would you set a Winter wonderland tablescape? Â Faux snow? Â Snowmen or something elegant like this?

Perfect winter tablescape! Great sparkly transition from Christmas. Love that throw as snow and the branch tree with the beads as a centerpiece.
Thank you Lori!
What a stunning winter table, Chloe. I love all the white and just enough silver for the sparkle! The tree with the strands of pearls is so elegant against the throw!
Thank you Pam! I have been thinking I should have DIY’ed the tree, but alas, sometimes we just buy things!
That’s very pretty, Chloe and I agree that your blue walls look striking against the table setting.
Thank you Rita!
Oh, la, la, Chloe! I love your white and silver tablescape, dripping with pearls! So very elegant. There’s nothing quite like crisp white and sparkly silver to bring a winter wonderland to mind. Your throw works perfectly and I’m drooling over your snowflake plates. A perfect space for this time of year. Thank you for sharing. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
Thank you so much Rosie! I do love a white tablescape!
I agree with Lori – retrofitting a throw as a tablecloth? Brilliant! You are so dang cleve, Chloe! 🙂
Thank you Tim, I thought it really gave the table snowy texture.
Just lovely! The dark blue walls make me think of moonlight on snow.
What a lovely image that conjures up!
Oh my, this is gorgeous! Sparkled with magic. I love the tree with the pearls, it is perfection. Beautiful plate stack. I looked at what I thought was your tablecloth and thought I want one of those, then my mind went right to IKEA. I thought of their multi-purpose throw. I am so glad you said it was from them. I think I will be using one on my tables. You know copying is the sincerest form of flattery. Loved your post!
Very elegant and pretty. I love your creativity!
Romantic and elegant! Love the pearl centerpiece, fresh flowers, texture of your throw and your plate stack is lovely. I especially like the silver salad plate.

Love all these wonderful ideas ,table is so crisp..I love doing tablescapes working on my Dining Diva dinner party turquoise ,gold and fushia any ideas Chole
Oh my, what fun colors. I always begin by shopping my own cupboards and closets. I love that combination of colors. There are lots of fresh flowers available in fuchsia to include on your table. Maybe use a gold napkin ring around a turquoise napkin and tuck a fuchsia flower into the ring.
Fabulous Fun Chloe!
I always enjoy your tablescapes and this it is simply gorgeous. I love every single element you have incorporated into it.
Thank you Debra!
Your winter wonderland table is perfection Chloe. Love all the added sparkle and bling.

The table is beautiful love the white & sliver table setting and the pretty white tree !
Very elegant setting indeed. Using silver accents complemented the white perfectly for a winter tablescape. I actually own a similar throw that I bought at IKEA also. I particularly loved the flower arrangements, simple, fresh and elegant.
Thank you so much Edmee! I have used those throws over and over again…I love that they don’t have to be ironed! I struggle with getting all of the wrinkles out of my tablecloths! Thanks for stopping by!
Everything is lovely – adore the white branch centerpiece, it is perfect for this setting!
Thank you Janet, this remains one of my favorite tablescapes, probably because I live i Florida where I never get snow, and this reminds me of a dreamy snowy evening.Thank you for stopping by Celebrate & Decorate! I love hearing from my readers!
