A Life in Celebration

We are only two days from the official first day of summer! It seems like it has been summer for at least a month so far! Me, well, I have a very busy summer ahead of me still! There is a quick trip up to Maryland to visit my daughter and family over the 4th of July. What do you have planned for the 4th? Anything special? In July my husband and I will be packing up the car and taking Lily with us up to Ohio for a couple of weeks. Then we will be driving over to Maryland to pick up my granddaughters and take them down to their summer camp in North Carolina. Whew! There will be some more stuff happening in August I will share next week!

How about making a festive centerpiece for the Fourth of July? Check out how I added lady liberty to my arrangement!

Did you see that really easy centerpiece I made with baseballs? Here is the table I set to coordinate with it! Baseballs make the cutest place cards!

Do you have ice cream lovers at your house? This is the perfect “wreath” for your front door! Follow all of the step by step instructions to make your own!

My favorites this week!

How adorable are these little crocheted critters? If you need a fun summer craft or want to learn how to crochet, these kits are just the thing for you or a kid you know!

I just love these lanterns for summertime! These are so perfect for setting on your outdoor table in the evenings! These are currently on sale! $24 to $84!

These Clearspace pantry organizers are brilliant! I have found many uses, beyond the pantry!!

I am so glad I discovered these detergent sheets! No more huge bottles of detergent where I am paying for water and no more little plastic pods that are putting micro plastics into the environment. Even better, a little load, maybe just one or two items? You can tear these sheets in half and only use one!

Are you a baker like my friend Mary, from Life at Bella Terra? I really want to take on baking sourdough bread like Mary does, especially when you learn how healthy sourdough is for your gut health! Here are two things I am going to buy to start on my sourdough journey. Two bread proofing baskets and a complete bread making kit.

AND…

Sourdough starting jar (no starter included).

Thanks for reading this far! I will see you again right here next week!

    1. Thank you so much Mary! The best thing about those laundry sheets is that you can take them with you SO easily when travelling! You can also use them for things like washing your hands, just tear one in half and wash your hands with it and water!
