A Life in Celebration
First and most important I am SO upset with myself! I shared a link to an adorable little Halloween mouse. Well, my mouse had not arrived yet. It did now and what I got is not anything like the picture that I shared. I was so disappointed, but I am more upset that I suggested you buy your own mouse. I am so sorry, and I hope you didn’t buy one, AND I promise to only recommend things that I actually have and have used.
The only good news is that they are happy to take it back and even pay for the postage to do so. Too bad, that little mouse on the right is so darn adorable. I guess I need to learn how to needle felt myself.
Now, last week my sister and I took our dad on a cruise to celebrate his 96th birthday! He had such a wonderful time! My dad is mostly blind from macular degeneration. He listens to audio books for the blind, but I have been reading him the Guiding Emily book series and he has so enjoyed it, and so have I!
I have been creating new Halloween decor at my house and I am ready to share some of it! You can see how to make a Halloween Swag for your Front Door!

Poor little mousy won’t get a home now. It will likely have to to go a mouse orphanage. And get picked on by the other mousies. 🙁

If thst is the worst thing you have ever done as a blogger, it’s gonna be okay. There is a lady in Winter Garden that makes the most amazing little felted mice. I don’t have her card. She lives in the manufactered home park by Captain D’s on West Colonial Dr. They would know her or she might come up in a search. She ships worldwide.
I met her when they have a fall craft show.
Thanks Myrna! I know it will be okay! I tried needle felting once and it is one craft I am just not good at! I know better than to shop some of those certain companies, but I thought through Walmart it would be reputable. At least they refunded ALL of my money, including shipping!

I agree with Myrna in that if that’s the worst thing you’ve done as a blogger, that’s pretty good. I bet Walmart didn’t even know how shoddy poor little mousie was until you brought it to their attention. I really hope that you are okay down there with all the crazy hurricanes. Take care!
Thank you for your vote of confidence Kim! You would think that Walmart would vet the products they are selling. We are hunkering down and staying safe. Being in the middle of the state, we should be safe!
