Butterfly Table Decor

Do you love to set beautiful tables? Are you torn between what dishes you REALLY want and the price they are? I have decided to do a new weekly feature comparing some high end to low end price ranges for different home decor! This is the first week and this one will be all about setting a butterfly themed tablescape!

Which one Wednesday?

Welcome to my first, “Which one Wednesday!” The great thing about these posts is they can help you find beautiful products you may love for your home in different price ranges. If something really calls to you, you may want to select a particular item from the high end board and then the rest of them to complement it from the low end! Enjoy!

High end butterfly table:

I was already familiar with this beautiful Butterfly Parade pattern from Christian Lacroix. I styled a table with this several years ago that you may see here. The featured items here are the Butterfly Parade four piece place setting, and a gorgeous Tiffany’s red wine crystal goblet. I selected the intricate nickel plate flatware by Wallace to accompany the place settings along with an Arthur Court pitcher.

Low end butterfly table:

For the low end butterfly table I chose this four piece place setting of Michael Aram Butterfly Ginko pattern china. This is not bargain basement priced china, but is less than one quarter the price of the high end Christian Lacroix china. Michael’s Butterfly Ginko collection is a celebration of flora as fauna. The Butterfly Ginko tree grows with a double leaf which is suggestive of a butterfly’s wings. I actually like this glass even better than the high end one. These come from Neiman Marcus that currently is offering a sale of up to 50% of some items and if you have not signed up for their email, you may get an additional 15% off.
