Chloe’s Inspiration ~ Steampunk Party Ideas

Steampunk has been described as a genre of music, literature, fashion, art, and culture which typically features steam-powered machinery.    I have  been inspired by many of the Steampunk items I have come across on Pinterest, and the Steampunk dessert presentation at an event I attended this past Spring.   I was wondering if I was going to host a Steampunk-styled party where I would begin…so here comes my inspiration!

    Steampunk invitations and envelopes

I would love to send out envelopes like this for a Steampunk party.  I am afraid these would have to be tucked inside a box to make it to their destinations safely.

    Steampunk invitation

This is a lovely invitation with fanciful detail.

    Ornate steampunk wall

This ‘wall’ would make an incredible backdrop for a Steampunk party.

Laser cut wooden gears for steampunk decor

Gears such as these cut from wood or card stock would add to the decor if they were sprinkled around on the table tops.

    Steampunk place cards

The vintage -looking paper these place cards are printed on and the little gears attached to them set the scene for a Steampunk table.

    Steampunk votive candles

These Steampunk – inspired candles look simple enough to create to add to the decor.

    Steampunk cupcake

The ultimate Steampunk cupcakes would certainly make a statement!

    Steampunk fashion clothing

Suit up in your Steampunk gear and get your Steampunk party on!

    1. Hello
I’m interrested by the canddle that propose in your site, I would like to buy. how can i do?

    2. Hi Chloe,

My fiance and I want to use gears as a lock for an invitation, so when the guests open the card they need to pull something or turn the gears for the invitation to open. We were hoping you could help us with this.

      Thank you in advance!

      1. Maria, that sounds really amazing, but I don’t really know exactly how you would do that. I will look around for some ideas online and see if I can come up with something.
