Goat cheese and honey are such a nice combination. If you haven’t tried these before, this is a simple and easy appetizer to add to your repertoire of cocktail party appetizers. Tiny toasts or crackers, goat cheese and honey are all you need to add these to your menu. Spread a little goat cheese (plain or herbed) onto each piece of toast. Make a little indentation in the cheese (sort of like making a “lake” in mashed potatoes for gravy), and squeeze a tiny bit of honey into the indentation. Don’t over do on the honey or it will run off the cracker and both your platter and your guests’ fingers will get sticky. You don’t want to prepare these too far in advance, as it will make your toast or cracker soggy. Enjoy adding these little appetizers to your next party offering!
