Chloe’s Inspiration ~ Steampunk Party Ideas
Steampunk has been described as a genre of music, literature, fashion, art, and culture which typically features steam-powered machinery. I have been inspired by many of the Steampunk items I have come across on Pinterest, and the Steampunk dessert presentation at an event I attended this past Spring. I was wondering if I was going to host a Steampunk-styled party where I would begin…so here comes my inspiration!

I would love to send out envelopes like this for a Steampunk party. I am afraid these would have to be tucked inside a box to make it to their destinations safely.

Gears such as these cut from wood or card stock would add to the decor if they were sprinkled around on the table tops.

Lindsay, The candle is a DIY project, not something you can buy. I found it on the following website: http://steampunk.wonderhowto.com/ Best of luck on creating your own steampunk themed candle!
Hi Chloe,
My fiance and I want to use gears as a lock for an invitation, so when the guests open the card they need to pull something or turn the gears for the invitation to open. We were hoping you could help us with this.
Thank you in advance!
Maria
Maria, that sounds really amazing, but I don’t really know exactly how you would do that. I will look around for some ideas online and see if I can come up with something.
