Easter Decor Around My House

Easter Decor Around My House…

With our world in flux this Easter season I am not doing much, but I did want to pop in and share some Easter decor around my house before the holiday arrives!

I am so happy to be joining Amber of Follow the Yellow Brick Home and all of these other bloggers sharing their own Easter’s on its way blog posts!  If you are ready for some cheery homes and decorations, this is the place to be!   If you are coming from Thistle Key Lane, hasn’t Michelle done a lovely job with her garden tablescape?

On the porch:

I wanted my spring entry to be as impressive as my Fall porch.  A faux  wisteria growing up around the door seemed  to be the answer.  Even my little rabbit’s foot fern got Easter treatment with some tulips and cherry blossoms!

Inexpensive pillow covers are an easy way to add Easter colors to my porch.  I bought six spring pillow  covers for $26.00.  I will take them off, wash them and tuck them away for next year when I change them up for summer.

The weather has been lovely for enjoying some time outdoors.  Walks through the neighborhood have been nice, but when the time comes to relax, this is the place to be.  This is one of the sweet little arrangements I made for my Springtime TablescapeAn Easter tablescape hop was the best excuse to set a Peter Rabbit table on the front porch, too.

In the house:

I made a pair of these Easter egg topiaries this year and have used them to add a little bit of Easter decor to my mantel.  Adding a bunny makes me smile, how about you?

A moss bunny sits inside a birdcage filled with spring flowers and Easter eggs, on the coffee table.

Tiered trays are the perfect way to add a little seasonal decor to the kitchen.  I repurposed items from my tablescape including tiny Peter Rabbits and cabbage napkin rings.  I may have not done a lot of Easter decorating this year, but the things I have done bring a smile to my face each day!

Now it is time for some more Easter decor!  Head down the list and check out all of these great blogs!

  6. If I lived in your neighborhood, every walk that I took would include a slow stroll by your house to admire your porch and front door. Using Wisteria around your door was a unique and beautiful idea. The Wisteria is blooming here right now and every time I see a patch of it in the woods in our neighborhood, I stop to admire it. I so much enjoyed seeing your other Easter decor including your fabulous tablescape.

  8. Chloe,
All of your Easter decor is wonderful, but I love your Peter Rabbit table setting on the porch best of all. I can just see you sitting there, smiling and waving at your neighbors as they pass by. Reminds me of my childhood when porch sitting and greeting neighbors was a daily thing.

I am now thinking about a Peter Rabbit centerpiece on my dining table.

    Be safe, and happy Easter,
    Judith

    1. Thank you so much Judith. I do love spending time on my porch, and I do wave at the neighbors passing by. When we are not “social distancing” I even invite those folks up to chat for awhile! Peter is always a good choice for Easter, isn’t he?

  12. I throughly enjoyed my virtual visit to your home Chloe — thanks for the tour! Love all the florals inside and out, even the faux ones. And what a find on those inexpensive and adorable pillow covers! Gosh I miss the fun of shopping and to on a find and discover outing. Have a safe and happy holiday,

  13. Chloe,
Wow….just wow! Your porch is absolutely stunning and makes me happy. It inspired me so much to get off my bum and head to my front porch to spray off the yellow pollen and spruce it up a bit. I typically don’t even fool with it until early May. Pollen is insane until then. I am blown away by the faux wisteria. It looks so real. This is such a fun idea!!!

  14. What a beautiful post! Love your front porch! That tablescape was such a delight!

    I pinned everything!

    Happy Easter my friend!
    ~Nancy
