Inspiration ~ A Winnie the Pooh Party
All you have to do is read one of Winnie the Pooh’s quotes to fall head over heels for the cuddly little old bear. I read my beloved Winnie the Pooh book over and over again as a child, and I cannot think of a better theme for a party for a one, or two, or three year old or for a baby shower than Winnie the Pooh.
This quote displays the emotion which draws us to Winnie the Pooh.
I discovered these lovely little favors on Etsy, but thought the image and the quote would be perfect for an invitation.
This lovely vignette was put together by Lynlee of Lynlee’s Petite Cakes. I think this child-size table set on the grass with the basket nestling Piglet and Winnie the Pooh, fits the theme.
How about taking a large garden pot and painting like Winnie the Pooh’s hunny pot? You could set a punch bowl inside it and serve right from Winnie the Pooh’s hunny pot!
Adding a Hundred Acre Wood sign is and easy DIY project to carry out your theme.
Winnie the Pooh is famous for floating beneath a balloon, so incorporate some balloons into this party!
What great favors these would be for a baby shower, honeycomb shaped handmade soaps. All of the instructions can be found right here! Thanks to Disney Baby!
Follow up with an adorable cake like this one, where it looks like Pooh Bear had a little too much honey!

where did you buy the honey pot looking bowls?
I am so sorry, the source for that picture is no longer active on the internet, so I can’t track them down for you. I did find this adorable honey pot still available from Le Creuset, but it is quite pricey.
