Organizing your home is something that is always there, always needs to be done, but there is something about putting all of the Christmas decor that moves organizing your home to the top of the “to do” lists. I can’t tell you what a mess I have been dealing with since moving into my new home. I had a storage unit when I lived in the smaller condominium, which kept all of the mess out of site. There was also the problem that I didn’t know what I had and where it was, so when I got ready to host a party or a dinner, I would often go out and buy something that I knew I already had, but I had no idea where it was. Has this ever happened to you?
I have gotten all my napkins, my fabric, my tablecloths and my paint organized! Yay! How? I headed to Pinterest and search organizing craft rooms! My tablecloths are hanging in a guest room closet, my fabric is hanging in another closet (thank goodness this house has so much storage)! My napkins are all tucked neatly on end in drawers and my paint is in a neat little tray in a cubby. Oh, and I organized all of my ribbons! I took them all off of the spools and rolled them around pieces of cardboard and put them in drawers.
Yes, a lot is done, but a lot more needs to be done! Good luck with all of your home organization projects! I have just ordered this book, the life-changing magic of tidying up for myself, you might want to look into it, too!
