A Life in Celebration
I am writing this on Sunday night in a hotel room. My road trip is coming to an end and tomorrow night I should be tucked into my own bed. Thank you for all of the care and prayers that we have a safe trip! Sound asleep in the bed next to me are my two sweet granddaughters. My husband and I drop them off at summer camp tomorrow morning and head home. Lily has had a marvelous adventure, as have I!

Probably my favorite part of the trip was the two days we got to spend at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. This is an amazing historic property! I have written all about it and shared photos at A Visit to The Bedford Springs Historic Hotel.
Now it is time for me to get home and get thinking about fall decor, then Halloween, followed by Christmas! If you haven’t yet voted on how I should decorate my Christmas tree this year, make sure you click on this link and vote so I can start shopping for decorations!
It is time for “E” in my alphabet series! Head over and see what I did for this week’s post in the series! It is my interpretation of an “earthy” tablescape!

A lot of people thought this was a hint of fall in this tablescape, but I have even more fall tables to share! This past week I shared creative Neutral Fall Tablescape Ideas.

Of course I wanted to share a beautiful pumpkin craft that I might do again this year. This is one of my fall decorations I have been most proud of. If you have wanted some stacked pumpkins, I recommend you check this post out and try your hand at this easy and impressive fall decoration!

I can’t get enough of these natural feel faux hydrangeas! You can see how I used them in this photo below, or at my Perfect Alfresco Tablescape. These are a bargain versus buying hydrangeas over and over again!

Since I have been traveling, this is one of the handy little items that helps me take my favorite soap along on my travels without a mess, or putting it into a ziploc bag!

This is my favorite new product, perfect for cleaning jewelry and most importantly, my eyeglasses!

So glad you are home! I love the visual of you in bed with your two granddaughters. How sweet love the hotel you stayed at and can’t wait to hear more about your trip.
It was an amazing trip! Lots of driving, but worth it all! Those girls hopped out of the car as soon as we got to camp and were ready to go! The Omni Bedford Springs was wonderful! I could have used another day there!!
What a great adventure you’ve had, and I’m sure you’re ready to be home. Can’t wait to hear about your granddaughter’s summer camp experiences!
Thanks so much Chas, it was a great adventure. I am quite happy to be back home and ready to dive into fall decorating!
